Our friends at Wieden + Kennedy asked Jackdaw to help to adapt their space to hybrid working. Their East London HQ is a vibrant open plan workplace, perfect for creative collaboration. But in the new era of hybrid working, it is essential to provide additional rooms for video calls.

By observing and monitoring we identified under-utilised areas. With clever adaptation to the existing layout were able to turn one of these areas into sound-proofed meeting rooms.

The rooms were built over two weekends with acoustic treatment applied to every available surface, floor to ceiling drapes, felt ceilings and marmoleum desks. To add interest for the viewer, the background walls were painted with a geometric pattern by the talented Chris Dorning.

Continuing with our commitment to specifying sustainable products, the curtains are made from 35% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable at end of life. All the marmoleum surface materials are 97% natural raw materials.
