The Beyond Collective workspace was designed and built primarily for collaborative working. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Great Workroom in the SCJ Headquarters we omitted any internal walls using planting and large fixed furniture to divide the space, creating an open inspiring place to work.
The brutalist aesthetic of concrete and stainless steel contrasts with the smooth pastel coloured linoleum table tops and fabric dividing curtains. A stripped back, minimalist interior allows the work to take precedent.
Lockers are provided to maintain the lack of clutter. The two large columns are anchored to the building with fixed organic shaped tables. Walkways either side of the Workroom lead the visitor to a large wrap-around sofa situated beneath the occulas. This space is dedicated to sharing work on the large stainless steel wall and the opportunity to look to the sky above.
The business thrives on the encounters encouraged by our co-working interior. Teams interact in new ways and develop their skills and new opportunities.
