A complete rip out , refit and re-home for this motion graphics studio.Mainframe had outgrown their studio and we were tasked with turning this former piano factory into their new home.The challenge was to keep the character of the building whilst fulfilling the requirements of a bustling, highly technical studio.

We exposed and restored the original features wherever possible, opening up the beams and brickwork and letting in light through new skylights. All power and data was run sympathetically in galvanized trunking and a new reclaimed oak floor was run throughout, tying together the separate spaces. We fitted soundproof edit suites and meeting rooms, new kitchens and a breakout area, and created a roof terrace.
